Stop doing everything else you are doing and try again. Either the cd itself was bad or the pc ran out of cached data and tried to read and write the same data at the same time. Better drives have a larger cache, 8 meg is a good sized one for future reference.

Hello; That's a bit vague of a question... depending on the software and hardware being used... as well as the error message you are getting. If you go into the settings of the burner software, and increase the size of the buffers, then you should get more favorable results... however, you may be the victim of a common PC problem; you bought a Compaq or HP with not enough RAM, becuase it was cheap...

Two things to try are burning at a slower speed and creating a CD image on your hard drive first, then burning from the image.
