Penal Codes for the great state of Texas can be found at:

I didn't see your location, so I am assuming you are in the United States. If this is not the case, please disregard this answer.

If you are just looking up code sections, most states have a free webside that lists the codes. For example, in California try
http://leginfo.ca.gov/calaw.html

Another public site that is useful is Findlaw:
http://www.findlaw.com
The "For Legal Professionals" tab will open up a screen that will have a "Cases and Codes" link.

Finally, try looking up your local law library. If your law library has a website, they likely also have links to resources that are useful in your jurisdiction.
