because they have been targeted from Christians. Although some might be open-minded, that doesnt mean they dont carry around hatred in their heart.
Not to mention, I think they dont like the hypocrisy Christians show on this site (showing hatred towards them, yet saying God loves everyone at the same time)

It's a public forum, allowing everyone equal access. To request answers from specific users is seen as an insult by those who would like to offer their opinions. No one likes to be made an outsider.Many times the atheists even have their facts straight, more so than the Christians who answer. The atheist opinions and answers are just as valid.

Because a great number of atheists take after their Christian peers and feel like they must give their "foes" a taste of their own medicine. It's childish, no doubt, but certainly not surprising.

If they're inflammatory, hateful, or inaccurate, we don't want those ideas to be perpetuated. And open-minded doesn't mean you accept everything. It means you're open to reasonable discussion about the issues.

Why do Christians, filled only with Love for fellow men, act in the same manner in questions directed only towards Atheists????

Try leaving an example, rather than making a statement that leaves you appearing to be a bigot and unintelligent.
