ok, well the past 2 days my dog has gotten into EVERYTHING and eatin like a goat. on saturday night, i had some buffalo wings, i left them in the cardboard box, and he ate the chicken wing bones. then that same night, my mom was doing laundry and she left my clothes foldeded on my bed, well them my dog jumped up and snached my expensive underwear, and ate them. THEN just this morning, i heard that he was chewing on something, so i looked and somehow, he got to my bra (no it wasnt on me, i had another one on)anywho, he ate some of the underwire and a srap, and im really hoping that it doesnt hurt him. im thinking he's just bored, but i leave toys for him to bite and chew on when he's in my room in the mornings, while im still sleeping. what can i do for him to STOP this. i found him in October and he was doing good, but now he's starting this back up again. he's about 2 to 3 yrs old. please help me i dont know what to do, but i get SO ANGRY with him. PLEASE HELP ME!! THANKS, GOD BLESS!

ive tried to put him in a crate, but he's scared to go in it so now its just has the top off and a pillow inside. the only way i can go walking is by myself with my dog, and i live in a bigger city and im scared that if another dog comes up, i wont be able to help my dog and me. and im also scared that i could get kidnapped walking by myself. there has been SEVERAL kidnappings here...and i dont want to be another one

Please ignore the dumb answers that you get for your question some people don't really think before answering.
What you need to do is get a toy like a KONG brand toy that you put treats and stuff inside to entertain your dog. The dog can't just get the treats out easily it takes a bit of work. You can also get other types of toys for him to play with.
Also get different size beef bones that are safe for dogs at pet stores like PetSmart or Petland.
Make sure that everything is picked up and in drawers or the closet. He chews your stuff cause your his "Mommy" and he is entertaining himself while your asleep. Toys are entertaining but thats for playtime not your bedtime. You need to play real good with him about an hour before your bedtime. Lots of running and romping, throwing toys and fetching. This uses up alot of his energy and tires him out. Then get the Kong Toy and put treats or peanut butter inside of it and offer it to him when you are in your room.
I would limit his access to the kitchen just because its a tempting place for a dog to be- all that food, scraps in the trash, etc. Let him in there with supervision only otherwise get a latch gate. As far as the rest of the house make sure you keep favorite "chew" items out of his reach so as not to tempt him.
Good luck with your new friend.

It's bordum, plain and simple. A tired dog isn't so destructive, he doesn't have enough energy for it. Dogs need at least 30 min -1 hour of exercise a day. I understand it's cold but you're going to have to get a nice warm jacket, some gloves, a scarf and maybe a hat and suck it up. Or you won't have any undergarments left!
He needs to be enrolled in some training classes too. Dogs don't destroy alpha's stuff. Establish your rank and maintain it with consistant training all the time.
You're dog also needs a mission. Give him a job - i.e. agility, hunt, search and rescue etc.
Good Luck

I disagree with your diet choices for the dog. Second part, maybe start chopping the meat into smaller pieces so he wont have to throw up after you've fed him. Another thing you could do is buy a special type of bowl at the pets store. I don't know what they are called. It consists out of two bowls, one regular the other turned upside down and over the other bowl but it;s smaller as the bottom one. This makes the dog have to navigate around the top bowl to get to the food making it more difficult to inhale his food.

He sounds like he needs a walk, desperately.
Even though it is winter, it is still a REQUIREMENT for your dog. At least 3-4 times a week and for at least 30 minutes at a time.
It is a pretty good guess that once he gets more exercise he will chew less... there is no way around it.

Could be several things. Have him checked at the vet, make sure there isn't something going on in his tummy. If he clears the vet, my next suggestion is go out in the yard and clean up the poop. Poop can spread disease/worms when left. With a clean yard, you can then exercise him properly. I have 4 dogs, and make it a habit to clean the yard every other day.
He need exercised....bored dogs become distructive dogs.

Pick up the poop, get a crate for when you are not home, get off your a** and walk the dog several times a day, OR find it a better home with an owner that is not such a freaking loser.
You need to place the dog. It needs WAY more than you can provide!!!

It sounds like your dog is in desperate need of some exercise. a tired dog is a good dog! if you absolutely can't find a way to exercise your dog, you can at least give him something to keep him busy. kong toys are great because you can stuff them with canned dog food, peanut butter or something like that. fill it up, then freeze it and let your dog have it. also, nyla bone makes a variety of long lasting chewbones that stand up to tough chewers. go to petco/petsmart and shop around. if you can't make it to one of these places, you can order online. i really think you need to find a way to exercise your dog. you said you can walk him in the summer, but not the winter. but then you mentioned you are afraid to walk alone. why are you scared of being kidknapped in the winter only? i don't want to be mean, but it sounds like you are making excuses as to why you can't exercise your dog. that is not fair to him, especially if you are getting angry with him just for being bored and making trouble. please do what you can to get your dog out for some walks. it will be good for you both!

ok if a dog is all you have you might want to get a cat or another dog for him to play with. and the reason is probably getting bored. play with him more often but since you do get mad dont take it all outt on the dog clean up the place and if you go to the vet and get x-rays beware that the bones and other things wil show up. this happened to a freind. well i got to go good luck!!

you sound too immature to have a dog.
whether you like it or not dogs need walking at least once a day! all year round - not just in good weather.
you also need to play with him....sounds like he is starving for attention.
get out of bed and pick up the poop!
walk your dog a couple of times a day.
show him the attention he is craving by spending time playing with him.
you said it yourself....everything was fine the beginning.....now the novelty has worn off you can't be bothered.
if you can't be bothered caring for him then give him to someone who will treat him the way he deserves to be treated...with love, kindness and lots of attention!

Well, you could start by not leaving things where the dog can get them! If he does get something, take it away and replace it with one of HIS toys. If he is getting bored, you can play with him inside. If you don't want to play outside because of the poop, BUY A POOPER SCOOPER AND CLEAN UP THE POOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But, I strongly recommend keeping things out of his reach, and replacing the "no no's" with one of his toys. You might try getting him one of those raw hide bones.
