Yes. But you should see the drivers here in Florida. The obituaries in the newspaper are filled with drivers and pedestrians (young and old) that have died due to terrible Florida road planning, tourists who don't know where they are going, the hundreds of thousands of Florida drivers that talk on cellphones while driving, senior citizens who are pretty much legally blind, the numerous folks who drive 50 miles per hour in the left lane in a 70 mile per hour zone on a whole bunch of Florida highways and interstates (police say that is what is creating alot of the road rage here), etc. I spend most of my time using all sorts of defensive driving techniques to dodge these folks on the road. And that takes skill!

I'm a really safe driver ever since I had an accident at a stoplight a few years ago. It wasn't my fault. The guy ran a red and T-boned my car on a turn I used to make several times a day.

I drive a lot slower now. Probably my worst traffic habit is messing around with things while driving (.mp3 player, CDs, the mirror, etc.). It's never gotten me into any trouble, but I should probably stop doing it.

Other than that, I drive like a senior citizen. I always head-check and use my signals, wear my seat belt and use my headlights.

Yes... to the point that the construction materials company that I drive a tractor trailer for has given me a $4/hour raise. AND, the best part is that I work in Florida.... everything "bootstrap" said in their answer is 100% true making my job a challenge.

I drive a flatbed trailer with a truck carried forklift, if anyone saw what really holds those things on, they wouldn't follow so close :-P

I talk on my cell phone and sometimes I'll eat a sandwich while I'm driving, but other than that, I'm a very safe driver.

I don't speed, I always signal, I'm (usually) courteous, and I don't make illegal U-turns.

I'm 20 - some of my friends like to drive with me because I don't drive "crazy", but most just tell me that I drive like a grandma.

There are no good drivers. As good as people think they are once something happens (too much slip angle) or a dangerous situation they freak out and drive like they just started. Just because you havn't been in an accident doesn't make you good and safe

I just drive. I don't talk on the phone, I don't eat, I don't do anything else. Those who do are asking for trouble.
