OK.. put's on teaching chef hat

Plantain is a starchy, savory, fruit that looks like, for all the world, an under ripe banana. In Porto Ricain food they are usualy sliced and fried like potato chips or mashed and cooked like potatoes.

Lota is a root, again cook it like root vegie.

Butternut is a squash, tastes like acorn squash or pumpkin, bake at 350 untill soft and sprinke with cinnimon, cardomon, clove, nutmeg, alspice.

Kasawa I think is a grain that I have been looking for, I'm not sure. If it is, it is cooked like rice or couscous.

Hope that helps

Butternut is a squash so look up recipes using butternut squash. It makes a heavenly soup. Mooli is a white radish and to be honest the only way I like this is in a salad. Plantain is a kind of banana which I hate but there should be no problem finding recipes for it. I thin it is Caribbean

I recognise some of these... Mooli is a white radish, you can peel it and boil it. Butternut is a squash like pumpkin. It is Casava, an african root. Thai beans are either long long french beans or beans similar to Haricot or Cannelini beans.

go to google and type the names of these wierd veggies, search within results with the word "recipes"...you will get recipes for them!
btw, plantain is banana
mooli is raddish
kasawa is actually Cassava which is commonly known as 'yuca'
dudi is actually dudhi, which is pumpkin
BTW, don't ever eat cassava raw, cause it has a substance that converts to cyanide while raw... read up more on this root b4 eating!
