NO. So unbelievably TACKY.
If you are a little girl, maybe. But I'll tell you its noticed and people do not look kindly on it.
Example: My best Friends wedding was this past summer and her cousin wore a white dress. She was over 18 doing this. My husband was and still is so angry about this. He still brings it up that she wore the dress(7 months later) and moreso that her mother allowed her to wear the dress. My husband NEVER cares about anything remotely like this. If it annoyed him(who only cares about sports), believe me everyone will notice and be put off by it.

Absolutely not...the only person who should wear white at the wedding is the bride. For another female to wear white is a huge faux pas!!

NO NO NO. If you wear white to a wedding be prepared to PISS OFF THE BRIDE. Also you will look cheap, trashy, and it will show that you have no class. It may also make the bride think that you have NO respect for her.
If you wear white prepared to be thrown out. I would thrown any adult out wearing white.

A man could get away with a white shirt, as could a woman if she's wearing slacks. I don't think a white dress is appropriate. It is the bride's day to shine.

You could wear a light outfit, or maybe a white top or bottom (trousers/skirt) but certainly don't turn up in a white dress!
