Absolutely! Belief is a very important thing because it influences, in a way or another, our interrelation and interaction in the society. Therefore, belief should be scrutinized, questioned for the sake of finding the truth about it.
Moreover, blind faith, or belief which is just passed over from generation to another should not be accepted just because my parents belief in such belief. Shouldn't we consider that they may be wrong?
In addition, if we question our belief and end up finding that it is a truthful, then fine.. we have lost nothing by questioning. But if we find out that it is faulty, then we have saved ourselves the troubles ensuing from adopting a wrong belief.
One more thing, give your belief the benefit of the doubt.. do not rebel, until you have proven that it is wrong.
God luck with your journey!

I think it's more than okay - I think it's a requirement. One of the best lessons I ever learned in my (Lutheran) teachings was that it is okay to question. Nothing should ever just be taken at face value - not even your beliefs. Ask yourself why you believe what you do and how you came to that belief. Ask yourself if those beliefs still hold true for you today. Some may, but some might not. My beliefs have changed dramatically since I was a kid due to my own changing worldview.

Not only is it OK, it is a health thing to do. As you travel the road, whatever road you are on, there will be forks in the road as you go along. It has been my experience as a Christian that at those times God gives me the choice to say "yes" I will keep going, or "no" I will take the other path. So far I have always said "yes" and moved on to the next phase of my spiritual development. Once or twice I lingered at the crossing for awhile.

I not only think it's OK, I think questioning your own beliefs is something we should all do, otherwise, it's almost like brainwashing.
I grew up in Berkeley, CA in the '60's. The best advice I ever got was always question authority.

Sure, it is. That is the only way you learn the facts, and what you really believe.
I questioned my family's Christianity, from the time I was 12 years old. I could not see that my G-d would come to earth in human form. When I grew up, I converted to Judaism-have been there 1/2 my life, and it is a perfect fit.

One should always continuously question any and all things. It is hoped that by the process of comparing and understanding a variety of things, one can gain the correct answers to life's questions. You are a very intelligent person. No one can sit around and dwell on just one idea or thought and be complete. Let God guide you in all of your efforts, and only then, will you resolve your concerns. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

It's more than okay. You should question your beliefs. As an intelligent human, you should pat yourself on the back for questioning your beliefs.

that's the best thing you could do is to question your beliefs that way if you do decide to stay with your set of beliefs it will be because you truly believe in your beliefs and not because you are afraid not to believe that you do so out of fear

I think that it is...and here's why.
Unless your beliefs are grounded and firm, then you will waver.
Now you have an opportunity to research and delve deeper into what you believe to satisfy your curiosity...and prove to yourself once and for all, you know what and why you believe.
Best wishes!

Of course.
An unquestioned belief is more of a mania.
You should constantly be questioning what you believe, and why.
