Congrats on the new member of your family! (And welcome to the first of many 'heartstoppers' that you'll experience.)
There is a chance he hurt himself seriously, but hold off on the emergency room visit. He could just be bruised--which is definitely whine-worthy. Try touching the area and see if he gaurds it or makes any sign of discomfort, test the area for swelling. If it feels spongy or if he is severely distressed when you touch the injured area, call the vet and see what she says.
Good news: puppies bounce. :) and they're pretty tough cookies.

Your pom is fine. If there were serious injuries he would have let you know right away. Puppies are like children - they will have crazy things happen to them but they are resiliant. He will try and probably succeed to jump from places he shouldn't squeeze into places he shouldn't climb to places he shouldn't etc.
He may have been whining for attention (which is a bad habit to start nurturing to - don't let puppy boss you around.) Play with him when YOU want to, not when he wants to. He has to learn who's in charge and right now it sounds like he may be.
Keep and eye on him. Watch for decreased appetite, if he doesn't want to play, doesn't lay on that side or is tender to the touch.
If he doesn't show any of those signs he's okay. You're a good person to be worried but don't worry to much.
Good Luck

It doesn't seem like he has anything wrong with him. It is possible that he could have cracked a rib when he fell, but I think he would be whining and would not be wanting to play. He should be fine. Keep an eye on him. If he seems to start laying around more than normal and won't play or eat, and/or have trouble breathing, then take him to the vet. Otherwise, just keep on enjoying him. They are tougher than they look! Falling is just a part of growing up for them.

With a puppy that tiny, they can get injured very easily. You may not see anything on the outside, but she may or may not have done something on the inside. If she is not acting different or like she's in pain, she's probably ok, but just to be on the safe side, I would have her checked by a vet or even just give your vet a call, and explain what happened, tell them how she is acting, and see if they think she needs to be seen. I sure hope she's ok!

It sounds to me like he is probably OK since he didn't exhibit any signs of injury right after he fell. Keep an eye on him for a day or two and if any symptoms develop such as signs of pain on touching him, swelling or limping, then I'd take him to the vet.

there is not any longer something incorrect with the puppy. supply him each and all of the time he needs to smell around the living house and grow to be familiar with it. on no account grab the collar and tug the canine in direction of you. once you are trying this, you frighten the canine and it considers it a threatening circulate and he will grow to be greater skittish. merely supply him his area and end attempting to stress him to do issues that make him uncomfortable. His brothers and sisters have been leaping and nipping because of the fact it extremely is how puppies play. i'm hoping you already know the splendid technique for burglary your puppy or it is going to have one depressing existence. You on no account crate a domestic dog to make it cool down merely on account which you do no longer like it strolling and sniffing a lot. the useful infant isn't doing any injury to itself by skill of strolling around and it will lie down, with out your help, whilst it gets drained.

my puppy is a tiny breed like yours and it falls on its side all the time (its sort of stupid) and its 7-months old with no physical or mental injuries so i think your puppy will be just fine. especially if it got up and just shook it off and kept playing like it did.

Sounds like your puppy should be fine.. watch letting him jump because at a young age his legs are fragile and could break easily...

well he may have just got a bruise or a sore. and if you play with him it gets the pain of his mind. try not to get him to jumpy or anything that would hurt him. go to the vet and get it checked out if it continues. give him lots of loving and treats to make him know that you love him and that if you hurt him you dont mean it. good luck

Instead typing on your computer why don't you take your pup to a vet?
If it were a 9 week old human infant would you ask this question on a computer?
