The question was if it was 'normal' not if it was polite or civilized. Yes, it is normal. Any animal you bug enough will make some sound of anger, and cursing is the human way of doing it. Polite? No. Normal? Yes.

It's normal because everyone will do it sometime in their life as a stress relief. Sometimes, it just feels good to cuss, even if you use a substitute word to do it. Now, on the other hand, if someones normal speech patterns look something like "Oh ****, you **** and ******* ******," then someone needs to get a dictionary and learn civilized speech.

Cursing is not normal. It just seems like it now a days because parents have no control over what their children learn. and morality is down to the floor

It depends on what segment of society you're in and the situation. I occasionally curse when under a lot of stress or if something bad happens, but I really do in day to day situations.

Totally, special if someone find the right buttons to push on ya I prefer cursing than to get physically violent.

I guess it depends on the text it is used in - I personally have tried to curb it in my house.
