That depends on how you mean. The military themselves don't have a program for nice cars. BUT most banks offer special loans at lower rates to people in military. Also the military is a great way to make steady money, while also earning an occasional lump sum of as much as $20,000 (if deployed). Which military faction you join also effects the benefits you get. But over all, finacially, being in the military DOES make it easier to get a nice car. Being in the military makes it easier to do a lot of things. Go to school, buy a home, start a family, get a career, travel.... With the obvious risk of war. But the military does indeed have its perks. The site below is a great source of information on all things military. I also recommend seeing a recruiter in your area for more information.

Just like with everyone else, depends on what you make vs what you earn.

You may get a slightly higher nod on your credit rating for job stability (if you're in the military, you're on contract, so you probably won't be walking off the job a week after you buy a car), but if you're spending beyond your means, no matter what your means are, your credit will reflect that. You're still probably not going to qualify for a Lamborghini as an E-3, but even if you're a four-star, if you're drowning in other debt, you'll only qualify only for what your available income allows.

Military pay is low so the only way to get real nice stuff is be very careful how you spend. If you are overseas in Iraq or on a ship where you need little money it may help save.

HELLO RICHIE,

THE MEN AND WOMEN IN THE MILITARY DON'T DO WHAT THEY DO FOR THE PAY.

IF YOU PLAN TO HAVE A LAMBO, THEN THE MILITARY IS THE LAST PLACE TO BE LOOKING AT.
