I'd like to buy my kitten some snacks to use as treats, so he has something else to eat sometimes other than his regular kitten food.
Any ideas?

I don't recommend any kind of wet food except on occasion - 1 a month MAYBE. Wet food sticks in between cat's teeth and rots away at the enamel. So you have lots of cavities and rotting teeth.

Any kind of treat you get should be of hard variety. Any kind is good - check the ingrediants for things like by products, corn, etc. They aren't good for the kitty.

Look into cat nip also. It's an all natural product - some people love it and swear by it others think it's horrible. It's all up to a person's opinion.

Good Luck

My cat loves little moist treats. I change it up a bit and get various moist treats from the grocery store. I also try and feed my kitty wet food once a week or once every two weeks as a treat. Normally he eats dry food. Cats also love catnip..so maybe you can put some in foil and ball it up and let the kitty go crazy chasing it across the floor.

be careful putting chemical components on any of your cats on an identical time as the toddlers are so little! as quickly as I had a one week previous kitten with fleas the vet counseled Palmolive purely, yet i don't understand why you need to no longer use first easy. for sure rinse them off incredibly properly so as that they do no longer ingest the cleansing soap, and putting a splash cotton of their ears is a solid concept too. Combing with a flea comb is super too. PLEASE however, be careful in taking in strays to boot on your different cats. i'm hoping you have saved them separated simply by fact the stray got here dwelling house. I in simple terms at the instant delivered dwelling house a farm kitten stray who examined FeLV+ (pussycat leukemia) that's particularly contagious to different cats. i'm satisfied I saved my cats become self sustaining from the kitten so as that they could no longer get the incurable affliction too.

The worse treat you can give them is Pounce... Avoid it at all cost. Look at the label and see for yourself how much sodium there is in those "poisoning pills". If you want to give them something then I suggest a few little pieces of fresh raw meat, like steak. After all, these critters are carnivorous and they are more than well equipped to process it.

I feed my cats hard food normally, and give them a canned food as a treat about once a week. Every morning I usually also give them each one soft treat... I've tried all different brands and they pretty much like all of them. Try the "Meaty Morsels", they go nuts over those!

Just about any treats they sell, cats love! I say the smellier they are the more cats love em! My cat loves green peas too, I roll them across the floor and he goes crazy for them. And he loves fresh chicken anyway I prepare it.

yes and you may have some right in tour house. as you know cats LOVE fish. so let him have some tuna every now and then. if you give him something make sure its not hard to chew or to big to choke on. cut it up in little pieces and make it nice and easy(squishy, easy to chew.) and make sure it is healthy and nothing bad so it will not upset his tummy.
