Well, if ur considering hanging someone (or urself) i would advise you not to do it. Usually, the victim's neck breakes, and the kind of flail around for a little bit, i dont know if it is just a knee-jerk reaction, or if they're awake... but, i bet its incredibly painful, because either your neck breakes, or, if its not done right, you suffocate! Doesn't sound like much fun to me...... :D

If the rope it the right length then the neck is broken and death is instantaneous. To short, they suffocate. To long, and the head can come off completely.

That is a totally impossible question to answer.Unless you hang yourself and come back to life which is highly unlikely.

well its instantaneous but if your thinking about hanging yourself you need to see someone about it there are local hot lines for these kinds of things where people are more than
happy to just listen to your problems

If done well, the spine snaps and death is immediate. If not, they strangle for a bit.

if it brakes your neck you can die instantly but if it doesnt it can be hours till you die not the best way to go.
