It really all depends on the 2 of you. My wife & I were in a long distance relationship(I in Northern California & she in Texas) before we got married. It is like any other relationship a commitment. I may be one of the fortunate ones where it worked out. Some do, but others don't.

It depends how strong the two of you are. It can be a positive, since you see each other less, the time spent together will be more special. But it can be hard to be trusting when your not there with them. Give it a shot if it seems right, but don't get your hopes up too high.

Yes, they do work. Look at me, my relationship is doing well, except it has it's ups and downs. It's better not to have one though cause' you rarely see the person. But you get less tired or annoyed of seeing him/her all the time if you do. It's your choice depends on what you want.

Why would any one want a long distance relationship? there is no fulfillment in such a thing. It is great for friendships but not relationships. Get closer to home.

It's been my experience that they usually don't pan out. Nothing is a waste of time unless you get caught up in it.
I say don't put much faith in it, there's too much ability for either of you to cheat on the other.

I don't think they benefit a relationship because of the distance.

it can work if you want it to work... i was in a long distance relationship and it worked out pretty good...so good that we're now married and have a 6mnth baby...sit down with ur partner and figure out ways to make it work...like i said if u want it to work and work hard on making it work out it will....good luck.

no i dont think they work. they always last quite a while too, but this is because it takes longer to figure out that you dont actually like them since you dont see them regularly enough. stick close to home

It all depends how much you each love each other and how hard you each want to work on it.
