...to try and prove God's existence to none-believers? the only reason we believe is by the faith God gave us '...it is a gift of God' we cannot give others faith, so why are we constantly trying to prove his existence to them? We should prove his existence through our actions and our lives, know us by our 'fruits'.
Instead of getting into heated arguments which will pretty much go nowhere, why dont you pray for unbelievers, that God will not give them over to reprobate minds, and that he, through Jesus Christ 'no one comes to the Father but by me' will, will draw them to Him.
Love all like Christ, and dont forget where you have come from.

I agree with you totally that it is not our job to convert people. I know for sure that I am not called to preach. But through my prayers I do feel that God has told me that I am always to tell the truth and when it is appropriate to talk about how he has changed my life. I can only comment on my personal experience though, in no way can I speak for Him. God bless you.

We do it because as humans, we struggle to fit in with our society, and one way to do that is to have others share the same experiences we experience. I personally don't argue about the existence of God, because I know of Him, but sharing never hurts anyone unless they've already been forewarned about it bothering someone.

Acts 17:16-17
(16) Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry.
(17) Therefore disputed he in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the devout persons, and in the market daily with them that met with him.
(I agree that prayer is required also)

showing things from science to prove the existence of god is just a way to sow a seed and help those who are not convinced. after all faith is the "evidence" of unseen things not blind faith.

Agreed. I like this question/answer. But I have to tell you, it's so much fun debating with the atheists, I think we enjoy it a bit more than we should huh.

I prefer asking them to prove to me that God doesn not exisist... I have seen many people get saved after asking them this question and giving them a few days to think about it :)
It IS ALTHOUGH OUR JOB TO LOVE THEM! :)

Gaby - preaching here is against the TOS.
The only reason you beleive is due to your ignorance and lack of logic. It is indeed your job to prove the extrodinary claims you make about your god. You are unable to do so.
Go ahead and pray away - you will be wasting your time. Prayer has been shown to be entirely ineffective when praying for another person.

Thank you for being rational. Actions do speak louder than choruses of "you're gonna burn in hell" ever will.

good start, the christian religion is based upon faith. trying to prove it as a fact negates any faith.
however praying for us wont do anymore then casting spells on us.
