OK. I am just really getting going on my diet. I changed the way I eat now I am focusing on exercise. I have noticed however that I "poop" after a workout. Is this normal?

Thank you everyone!! I know this could have been answered immmaturely! But you all handled it with such tact! I just wanted to make sure that this was normal anatomical behavior and not an indicator of anything else!

Thanks Again!
Amy

my last name is Hughes too =)

yes! What's happening is that if you're running or whatever you're doing then you're shaking up your systen, which irritates the bowels (in a good way irritates) and gives them a laxative effect. It's good to "dump" after a workout. Also, if you are drinking a lot of water during then that helps you flush out too.

Absolutely - providing the movement is normal -- soft and formed. The problem with many people is that they are sedentary and slowdown the system.

Actually, in order to habit-train myself to evacuate before going to work, I got up 1/2 hour early to exercise and let nature take its course.

Yes, an internal flushing is normal, remember to drink lots of water.

Yes it is normal. When you poop it is one indicator showing that you have exercised

yeah, if you just changed your diet. your body is still getting used to new foods and exercise. It will take a little bit for your body to get used to it but you'll be ok!!
