Adrenaline rushes are what fuels the "fight or flight" feeling (also known as panic attacks). A hormonal imbalance can keep the adrenaline at a chronically high level. Sugars and exercise can also cause rushes.

I seem to only have an intense Adrenaline Rush when I feel threatened. It is an animal instinct for me.

Life Pressures and Competition, Noise and overcrowding,media and TV, lots of different things cause it probably caused mostly by stress and some scary things.
