A few of my answers have been removed in the last few weeks by Yahoo answers and i keep getting violations, i cant understand this as my answers are my opinions and are always answering the question and are usually quite in depth, but they are saying that my answer is in violation for not being a question or an answer ????????????. I think it is because we have a lot of people (or maybe its just one) who are reporting peoples answers when they have no reason too.
Can anyone shed some light on the matter.

WHEN YOU GET A VIOLATION NOTICE E-MAIL, SEND A REPLY TO YAHOO ANSWERS EXPLAINING THAT YOU ARE A VICTIM OF ABUSE AND YOUR QUESTIONS OR ANSWERS MAY BE RESTORED. TELL THEM THAT YOU ONLY ANSWERING THE QUESTION. THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE ABUSING THE REPORTING SYSTEM WILL BE DEALT WITH BY YAHOO.
IN BOXING YAHOO, WE ALL KNOW WHO THE CULPRITS ARE. IT PROBABLY IS SOMEONE WITH MULTIPLE PROFILE AVATARS.
P.S. WHO COULD HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THE PARTICIPANT WHO ASKED THIS QUESTION.

I've had a few of my answers removed and I'm thinking it's because it's offended a person and they reported it to yahoo even though it was an answer to the question but it was an violation saying "Not an answer or question." When it was. Just because someone is offended by someones answer and they don't like doesn't mean they should report it when you should only report ones that are worse then mine were. I'm sure that is what's happened to you aswell.

I have been getting that a lot lately as well. I've pretty much been able to determine that mine are because there are some people who disagree with my opinions and mark them as violations so that they get removed.
This has happened to me on a lot of questions related to Barry Bonds and as someone who is a fan of Bonds, I run into a bunch of uneducated people who don't know anything about Bonds' career or the stats he has put up and they simply want to base everything on what they've read in the media in the past three to four years. They usually go off on Bonds about being a cheater, despite never failing a drug test...and I say something in his defense and I am either spammed out on the board by people insulting me (very mature) or within about half-an-hour my answer is removed and marked as a violation.
I know exactly where you're coming from.

i don't recognize your name ,but i have read many many comments from people who respond on this medium for the purpose of spewing venom... .. .. my grandmother used to say " if you haven't got anything good to say ,then don't say anything at all ". i hope i have helped . :)
