My cat Nore wont go near it, and I've asked a whole bunch of my friends that have cats, and they agree w/ me too. Has anyone else noticed that their cat/s dont like 9 Lives?
BTW, Nore LOVES Fancy Feast though!

I think calling it "9 Lives" turns the cats off. Cats don't like to be reminded of their own mortality.

I definitely agree. While my cat will still eat it, he doesn't get all excited when I fill his bowl with 9 Lives as opposed to other brands that I buy. I just bought the "Alley Cat", and he definitely like that brand better than 9 Lives... and it's cheaper! My cat won't even go near the soft canned food of 9 Lives which is so strange! I don't even buy it anymore.

YUP, Mr. Kitty loves his Fancy Feast and his Eukanuba and gave me major attitude when the 9 Lives got served.

Of course- it is nasty, it took my cat at least over 5-6 months to eat one small bag. I don't know why they call it 9 lives, except for that I believe that it cuts cats' nine lives in half. Thank GOODNESS, I thought I was the only one.

it cod have beenany reasons. that exactly the time you started feedig your cat that brand it wassick and would hav thrown anything up and by the time youchanged the cat was better. but nt very likely haha but it could have been an assormet of things from the way you fed it, what was in the food, the sizing r how quickly that at ate the food.. our cat wouldnt and couldnt eat whiskers fish flavoured stuff, it would make her sick.. just some things with cats..

Only kind of 9-Lives my cats ever liked was their tuna and egg flavor of canned good.

My cats like "Naturals Plus Vitamins & Minerals" dry cat food, by Purina. My husband bought it once, then I bought their normal brand and they didn't eat it. I realized they liked what my husband bought them.

I would never feed that crap anyway, but we have had it donated at our shelter and the cats are not fond of it.
