It's not that I want it overturned, but I would like to see medical decisions return to the authority of the states, where it always was prior to Roe; Roe created certain rights never before found in the Constitution. That being said, I do believe people should have the right to murder the innocent if they choose.

While the anti-abortionists are busy playing political games with abortion, the mature adults passed a couple of laws this week through Congress that should help to actually reduce the number of abortions, if Bush can resist the right-wingers long enough to sign them.
Face the facts - the anti-abortion movement is the #1 reason why we still have so many abortions. Prime example: thanks to their willingness to be politically manipulated, the Republican Congress went out of their way to pass a late-term abortion ban that they knew in advance would be struck down as unConstitutional, despite the fact that the Democrats would have accepted a Constitutional ban. As a result, there is no late-term abortion ban right now. There could have been one several years ago - but the anti-abortionists refused. They wanted to attack Americans more than they wanted to prevent abortions.
If you believe that abortion is murder and yet you support the anti-abortion movement, you have a lot of explaining to do on that one.

I'm pro-choice. I understand the reasoning for pro-life followers, but I have a different viewpoint. There are too many homeless children in the world today. Thousands and thousands who need adoptive families, so it doesn't make sense to add to this. In addition, I would prefer someone to force a miscarriage (abortion) at a point when it is just matter and a biological process, rather than bring into the world a baby they don't want or love and can't care for. Finally, it should be each person's choice. It doesn't make anyone a bad person, it's just a personal decision, which often carries emotional ramifications. Nobody said it's an easy choice, but it should be a choice nonetheless.

Abortion is, for lack of a better word, evil. I can't believe that we as humans are allowing the murder of our future generation to go on. What do we have on this earth but life and when everything else is taken away, it continues to remain all that we can claim as our own. I fail to see why people are determined to take that away. Its selfishness pure and simple.

Yes I really really want thousands of women a year to be maimed for life by backstreet abortionists, brilliant idea!
and just in case.... that means that I believe whatever the costs of legal abortions the alternatives are far far worse as has been demonstrated in every case.
