It should state on the ticket what the amount is so that you can mail it in. If not, call the Violations Bureau (or whatever they call it in California) and they will tell you.

Mikeysco is correct, but here is some more information. I would bet that your citation is for violating VC 21658. You will have to go to the web site for your particular county and check the bail schedule there. However, L.A. is probably typical. The listed bail (i.e., the fine if you forfeit bail) in L.A. would be $35. With assessments that is about $115. (Whatever your county says the bail is, you need to multiply that amount by 2.2 and add the listed bail to get the appoximate total with assessments.)
