Crush the Dragon's Blood resin with a mortal and pestal, boil water. Add water till the desired consistency is reached. For those who don't know, Dragon's Blood is the resin of a palm plant. Another good ink to try is pokeberry ink...perfect consistency right out of the berry and has been used for centuries, giving the plant it's common name "inkberry".

Get a copy of Scott Cunningham's "The complete book of Incense, Oils, & Brews". It has a chapter on making your own ink.
You need dragon's blood resin to make dragon's blood ink. It is difficult to do and the ink looks terrible. Save yourself a mess and just buy it, trust me.

I think that's the most time anyone has said or typed some form of the word serious in a paragraph. I seriously think you deserve an award.

I bought mine from a pagan store where they have a local Wiccan that mixes all the inks.
Sorry!
