Sorry about your mate. Don't forget though that there are plenty of good people in the world. It just seems unfair to us when a good, kind and warm person meets a sudden death, or goes through a long and particularly painful illness and so many nasty sods look as though they are wandering around happy-as-larry.

No person is "good" - we are all sinners. Jesus Christ provides forgiveness for sin by belief in Christ as the Son of God.

That said, I hope that your mate accepted Christ and that you would/do, too. After this very brief time in this world, there is an eternity ahead. Those who believe will spend that eternity with God the Father. Those who do not believe will face judgement and could spend eternity separated from God.

God loves everyone, both the "good" and the not-so-"good". I hope that you can see past who everyone appears to be to see the love seen in each of them in the eyes of God. Then, perhaps, the lose of your mate could be seen as a travelling child, having many brothers and sisters, returning to his loving Father.

There is peace in eternity. Jesus Christ is the light of eternal life. I pray that you would know peace.

That's a natural reaction to losing someone you love. I'm sorry about your mate. It's so hard isn't it. But if everyone evil died and everyone good remained alive till 95 it'd be Paradise, not this world wouldn't it? We don't understand it all, and aren't supposed to ...yet. Whatever your religious beliefs I'll pray for you tonight...and hope you'll pray for his soul, your slow recovery and all his loved ones too.

Initially it may seem unecessary, unwanted or even a deviation 4rm the core of the situation, but essentially a deeper Understanding of the situation may just be able to soothe th@ pain.

If you're blaming God for taking a life, then you should also know that we all will be taken one day. Death is a part of life.
