you are right and it is NOT the bowels emptying out . i saw it on tv and the experiment was being done by scientist and doctors and the body does lose just a little weight when you die.

In addition to the reasons already given, other processes in the body are occurring when you die. For instance, potassium levels change, blood begins coagulating, and many other processes that change the mass of the body. I'm sure if you talked to a medical examiner he could explain to you that "your SOUL" is really just scientific changes.

You are really trotting out that old urban myth? See the link to the Urban Legends web site below to see why your statement has not been verified as true.
But even if you are right, how does the existence of a soul imply the existence of a god?

Y!A, we now have a new troll, and his name is Chris K.
"This has been documented."
Sort of. Not.
The body loses a couple of ounces because the bowels empty.
So much for "thou shalt not bear false witness", eh?
Even if you are correct, Chris K, this does not prove that the weight that has left the body is its "soul". If the soul has weight, then it has physical matter. Tell me then, Chris K... which part of the anatomy contains the soul?
Try to explain.
You CAN'T.

That's beyond belief-you're a disgrace. It loses liquid through dehydration and it's as straightforward as that. You lot wonder why atheists have so much contempt for you-your question is an embarassment.

Read the new book by Mary Roach which shows just how flawed that experiment was, why do Christians keep being so intellectually dishonest?

the body also relaxes its systems (unloading excess water and fecal matter in the digestive tract)... SO unless the soul looks like one big splattered Lincoln log...

Because the body releases it's bowels when it dies.
This is a really weak argument.
