I have a lot of anxiety, especiallly whenever my husband and i have to go pick up my step daughter, whenever we pick her up we never know if she is going to want to come with us or cry, which is normal i guess since she is only 3 but I just want to know how to get rid of my anxiety and feel better about going and picking her up, i also hate to make phone calls, or answer the phone to people that i am not comfortable with, my husband hates it, if someone in his family calls or even some people in my own family, if im not close to them, or someone i barely know calls i wont answer it and he gets so mad! im sure it does get annoying but i cant help it, I really have alot of anxiety about a lot of things and it gets in the way of doing things i would really like to do but it bothers my husband and i dont like that either, i know he doesnt understand because he is normal, and doesnt feel the way i do....please help

Anxiety from stress is very common. Sometimes it can really snowball so you have to try to get control. Try deep breathing , meditation or even self hypnosis. There are also herbal supplements that work great and you don't need a prescription. Stop beating yourself up. You are normal, and anxiety from too much stress is normal. You can get through it! First of all you have to quit telling yourself that you aren't "normal". There is no such thing as "normal". Anxiety is very normal. Trust me when I say that your husband has anxiety over something. He may not show it and it may not be over the same things as you, but he gets it too. Second, give yourself a break! Try not to be so hard on yourself. Having a 3-year old stepdaughter is stressful. Give yourself some time to step back and evaluate what is really bothering you. I highly recommend going to see a therapist. There is nothing wrong with needing to talk to someone professional and trying to help yourself.

You may have to contact a Dr and get some kind of medication until this episode passes and you are able to deal with it, there are some herbal remedies you can try and see if those work for you like-Oats,Chamomile,Linden,Vervain,Motherwort,Lavender,St. Johns Wort,Hops,Skullcap,Valerian,Passionflower,Siberian Ginseng,Panax Ginseng and Licorice. Go to a knowledgeable herbal store and they can direct you on the proper dosage and the proper way to take them.Good luck to you-anxiety is a hard thing to deal with.

First of all you are NORMAL everyone has anxiety, you can try deep breathing exercises and physical exercise... Also Remember anxiety is basically fear, to over come fear you must face it.... Try answering the phone more often when it's uncomfortable, after time it will become easier!!!!

Anxiety is very normal. just breath and relac for youve done nothing wrong your normal try preyer, talking to a close friend or even a therepist.
