I Agree. How could a just god allow all the suffering that goes on in the world. Especially the suffering that happens among children. Theists say this is some kind of 'test of faith' or 'he works in mysterious ways'.

Some brutal kind of test if you ask me.

Well, yeah.

And further, there is no reward for believing the "right" way, nor is there any punishment for believing the "wrong" way.

The natural universe has consequences built in - cause and effect - and we have the opportunity to either work with those or work against them.

THAT is what I experience as being a loving Divine Source - that there is no punishment, no reward, that we all have the SAME opportunities, within the circumstances of our lives, to do as we will, and to learn from dealing with the consequences of our actions, both individually and collectively.

I am dismayed to hear that. I was counting on eternal bliss in Heaven after I die. Dismayed and disappointed.
Maybe I should tell my wife, she's Baptist and they have a special all this month on holy passes for Judgment Day, and you get saved and it's called spontaneous salvation or something like that.

But I'm just wondering why I should let her charge my credit card on something that ain't gonna happen.

Good to know that you have everything figured out. I guess we can all stop carrying on with the beliefs that we have and believe what you say. Because you said it. Thank you!
