He's normal in every other way, but I think I'll get some Vets advice. Thanks all:)

Hi Tracy...it isn't uncommon for kittens to defecate a lot as they are very active so it everything moves through the intestinal tract quickly.

Is the poo very soft? If it is, it might be something called Sniffles (I only know it by that name, no idea what the proper name is). I've lost a cat to that- it's very infectuous, and it's difficult to get rid of. Even if it's not, take it to the vet, 5 times a day is NOT normal.

think he poos more because he probably eats more often than your other cat. Kittens stomachs are smaller and they have to eat more often thereby needing to eliminate more often. But you could call the vet just to ask a general question and ease your mind.

THey do poo little and often,if he is well besides the poo problem I shouldnt worry but you could change his diet to see if that makes a difference .He could possibly have a parasite in the bowel so if at all worried the vet is the best person to ask. good luck ti *****

My kitten is a bit younger but also goes a lot and the vet said he is perfectly healthy. I think it all depends on how much liquid it drinks.
