In my lower middle left side in my stomach, there is a horrible pain that hurts when I walk, brethe, cough and sneeze. When I put pressure on it, it feels hard, and as though it is throbbing. The pain is also in my lower middle back. Could I possibly have appendisitis?

You may, but I would be on the safe side and go to the ER. You may have a kidney infection or stone. Both can cause severe pain, burning urination, all over body aches, tenderness in the abdomen and flanks. Start drinking lots of water (half your body weight in ounces) and see your DR asap...you only get one body...don't guess,,,go get checked!

the appendix is not on the left side, and if you can feel a hard mass, I suspect you are constipated. You probably feel a large mass of fecal material, and as the large lower bowel takes up considerable room it can definitley press on the lower spine and cause back aches. I suggest you take some dulcolax, drink about two liters of water and see if you can evacuate your bowels. If you still have considerable discomfort after clearing your lower bowel of stool, then see a doctor.

sounds more like a kidney infection. typically the appendix is on the lower right side of the abdomen. if you have a fever you need to consult your doctor.
