Bacon in the microwave is great! I put the pieces of uncooked bacon on a piece of paper towel and top it with another paper towel, then I place this on a paper plate. I cook for 1 and 1/2 minutes (or 90 seconds) and then check to see if it is crisp enough for me, if needed put it in for an additional 15 to 30 seconds. Good luck!

Yes, I do it all the time.
On a microwave safe plate, place one or two sheets of paper towel and lay the bacon flat on top of the towels. Then, to prevent grease from splattering all over your microwave, put another sheet of paper towel on top.
No, you can't tell from the wattage of your microwave how long to leave it in. It also depends on how old it is because microwaves dont cook as well as they get older. The best thing to do is cook the bacon on high for 45 seconds to 1 minute and if it isn't to your liking yet, put it back in for another 20 seconds or so.
When done, press the towels against the bacon to absorb any extra grease.

Yes you can. I do it all the time - it's not as greasy, and doesn't taste as salty to me either.
I generally go for about 45 seconds per slice - but you may have to adjust the time depending on the thickness of the bacon, and if you like it crispy or not.
Just put the bacon onto a paper towel covered plate, then cover the plate and bacon with another paper towel. As soon as the bacon is done, remove it from the paper towel, and place it to 'drain'/cool on another paper towel. If you don't do this right away, the bacon will tend to stick on the cooking paper towels.

Yes you can cook bacon in the microwave. The time depends on how soft or crispy you want the bacon. I usually cook mine for about 15-20 minutes.

Usually it depends...I cook in the microwave alot, I have done bacon a few times this is where it gets tricky..Depending on how you like it..I am not a crispy person for bacon, so I have to watch it, it vary's everytime, Why? don't know...But it isn't healthy to cook in the microwave...It take all nutrients out bacon I guess doesn't really matter..a minute in a half might be good but it is something you have to watch..

Yes. If you don't have a microwave bacon plate then use a glass dinner plate but put a papertowel on the bottom, under the bacon and one over it to catch the grease. Put it on for about 1 minute per slice put check on it periodically.

I do this all the time, and I like it better than fried. Less fat, and it stays nice and flat.
I take a square glass cassarole dish and line the bottom with a couple of paper towels.
For just a couple of pieces of bacon, put them on the paper and cover with a couple more.
Will take only 2 or 3 minutes to cook.
You can do this with several layers of bacon, puting a few paper towels between each layer.
Of course, the more bacon, the more time. You will have to experiment.

Yes you can. Unfortunately, because it tastes different. My wife likes to cook bacon in the microwave, and I do not like it that way.
You just need to cook it until its done! Cover it, with plastic.

Yes you can, you can buy a plastic device from most £-shops that allow you to cook bacon in a microwave, weather it works very well without one of these I don't know.
