I would have to go with ham and cheese since that's about all I've ever had. But I bet roast beef and provolone with some Au jus on the side would be great. I do like to toast my bread sometimes before making a tuna sandwich.

For sweet, try using any flavor of canned pie filling and maybe a little cinnamon if the flavors won't *clash* and sprinkle with some powdered sugar after toasting.

For savory, try crisply cooked bacon, sauteed onions, tomato (optional) and some american cheese...or what ever type you like. They're delicious!

That would be chicken salad - canned breast meat shreds as press and dried, a little real mayonnaise, green celery chipped is a must, and McCormick brand Season All or seasoned salt. Delicious! Drain any juice lain ever after bowl.

I've always found cheese and onion nice. Also I once had ham cheese and pinapple and that was rather good.
