Hi there...perhaps they would fly up high to capture a bird's eye view and perhaps catch a few birds while fluttering about.

Hi Gertrude -

Even if cats had wings, they wouldn't be able to fly. Birds have hollow bones that make them weigh very little and help them get off the ground. A cat would be fun to watch, though. He'd flap over to the wall and stare at the paint for 4 hours.

they would fly after the birds and finally have an advantage over the squirrels and rabbits, for they woul swoop down up on them, bite into their necks and kill them and eat them...i know my cat wishes for wings for that very reason.
