Is there really no alternative???
Maybe you can stay with some friends for a while, just until you feel better?
It is hard to say not knowing what the actual problem is...........could you possibly try counselling? Some non profit organisations will even offer it for free........

You should commit your self to a mental facility instead of ruining your life by getting arrested those people are equipped and trained to help people who are going through the type of things you are. In prison you will not only not be safe from your self you will be easy prey for the hardened among the population this will only further deteriorate you psychological state. Seek advice from a psychologist or psychiatrist it can and will help you sort things out.

I agree with Jawsh3539 here, things could get worse if you are in prison. For an example, Here in NH, if someone cannot afford rehabilitation for a drug addiction, they try to get off the drugs themselves. It's much easier being out on the streets than incarcerated and going through withdrawals.
I would strongly encourage you to contact a crisis hot line, or get a hold of a doctor right away. If you are feeling suicidal, do not delay and call 911. You are going through a battle within yourself along with dealing with your current situation. It is perfectly normal to feel various emotions. If they continue to linger or feel like they too much to handle, seek professional help immediately.

It wouldn't be worth it, because if you get charged, it just adds to the problem, cos you would have proved yourself right. If you still feel like this, then talk to someone about it. If there's someone who checks on you now and then, talk to them. They can organise some sort of counselling or something else to help you.
You could always go to your local police station and ask if they can help you. The police ain't there just to get you if u break the law, the more people they can help with their problems, the better.
If you admit that you need some sort of help, then they'll be much more on your side, cos they'll see you're trying. If you don't think you're safe then they'll help you until you are.

Sorry but im gonna have to disagree with your thoughts on that one.
your more likely to get yourself in trouble while in jail, future employers will know you have been to jail etc...making life once you get out that bit harder and you may even come out a complete druggy!
i think if your worried about getting yourself into trouble you should do what the rest of us do........grow up and take responsibility for your actions!

Depends what you mean when you say you are not safe from yourself, do you mean you are an addict or suicidal ? Or do you mean that you are afraid you'll tempted to commit a crime ? Either way I think you should seek professional help, rather than go into prison.
There's good in most people if you look hard enough. Get yourself some help. Good Luck.

It sounds like you are in enough trouble. You would just make things worse by going to jail again. That would simpy add charges and you would have to do something bug to be there for a while.
You need to be more creative in solving the problem. I think we need more information though.
Good Luck

I think it would be better for you to put your self in a mental hospital if you think its that serious you would benefit from it rather than jail.

Why don't you try and sort yourself out. Going to prison will not solve any of your problems
