take sexuality out of it, and of course they will. God made amends for his sins in the past, though he does not agree with homosexuality, one will not be judged on sexuality alone.
A good person will always go to heaven. I'm sure there are things your family members have done that you may not agree with, but you still love them the same and would want them to be happy right? I'm sure God feels the same way.

I'm not Christian, and thus I won't answer, but in addition to your question, I wonder, is asking for forgiveness after lifelong homosexuality enough to gain salvation? Is it just like any other sin, thus if you repent and ask for God's forgiveness, will it be okay? And if the answer to this question is they go to hell, how can it be justified that a person loves God will be punished by him in the end, no matter how much faith they have?

Most Fundamental types will argue that although they are allowed into Heaven, this is under the condition that they either somehow "become" straight or live a life of mental and physical abstinence.
A note on sodomy being described by a previous answerer as commonly used to refer to homosexual acts - sodomy is defined as any sexual act that is not for the purpose of procreation. Now, however, it refers to anal sex, including that practiced by a straight couple.

How does the meant "code of ethics and spiritual morals" of Christians, as you place it, usurp the understand God concerning hell? you have addressed this submit directly to Christians on account which you already know of the Christ of the Bible. God is the only one that is conscious the midsection of your loved one chum. that contains you and his 4 hundred acquaintances on the information superhighway. i could urge you to take your concerns till now God and tell Him what you're experiencing. Getting onto the internet and attempting to get validation from unsaved human beings shouldn't exchange something; if in fact, that's what you're doing. you do no longer seem to have a demanding coronary heart in direction of God; probability is that your sturdy chum did no longer the two. i'm hoping the days forward for you carry fond memories and a clean got here upon awareness of the understanding of God. Please study the gospels and study approximately Jesus Christ.

GAY meaning happy or of an offensive sexual behavior? If you are speaking sexual behavior, the person certainly needs to become aware of his/her sinful nature and be allowed to repent (turn from) that sin. It is of satan NOT of GOD! GOD expects man and woman to be joined not same sex joinings. This man needs to be in a serious BIBLE Study with real Christians. If I can be of assistance to him/her/you let me know. Have a great week.

Rom. 1:24-27: “God, in keeping with the desires of their hearts, gave them up to uncleanness, that their bodies might be dishonored among them . . . God gave them up to disgraceful sexual appetites, for both their females changed the natural use of themselves into one contrary to nature; and likewise even the males left the natural use of the female and became violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males, working what is obscene and receiving in themselves the full recompense, which was due for their error.”
1 Tim. 1:9-11: “Law is promulgated, not for a righteous man, but for persons lawless and unruly, ungodly and sinners, . . . fornicators, men who lie with males, . . . and whatever other thing is in opposition to the healthful teaching according to the glorious good news of the happy God.” (Compare Leviticus 20:13.)
Jude 7: “Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them, after they . . . [had] gone out after flesh for unnatural use, are placed before us as a warning example by undergoing the judicial punishment of everlasting fire.” (The name Sodom has become the basis for the word “sodomy,” which usually designates a homosexual practice. Compare Genesis 19:4, 5, 24, 25.)

Being religious will not save you. Having a intimate relationship with God will. "Intimate" is the key word there.
God hates the sin, not the sinner. He will love on you if you allow Him to. And according to His Word and as you get to know Him, you'll discover that He doesn't want us to live that kind of lifestyle. But, along with that, He won't leave us helpless, but will provide inner strength to get you to where He wants and needs you to be. He is for you, not against you. And as the devil reminds us of our past, we should remind him of his future which is recorded in Revelation 20:10..PEACE!!!
**NOTE** To eastchic2: I believe my answer also answers all your questions as well. The key is to Know Him and as you get to Know Him, you'll want to please Him because you'll begin to love Him more and more, for to Know Him is to Love Him. As your love intensifies and becomes a intimate and passionate love for Him, you'll want more of Him in you. It's really glorious and it's a every day relationship and very cool. PEACE!!!

As a former christian, yes. As long as the person accepted christ, etc, blah blah voodoo talk. No matter if you killed infants for fun, raped children as a priest, or started illegal wars, you can just pray for forgiveness and go to heaven. I don't see why any behavior would be different.

If their relationship with Jesus is stronger than their relationship with their significant others, if they repent of their sins just like the rest of us, then yes, they will go to Heaven.
