I have natural red (straberry blonde) hair. My hair color is a really nice color and I have never touched it because of that. I really want to dye it a darker, brighter red. I don't want to ruin my original color in the case that I don't like it. If I use a wash out hair dye will it ever go back to it's original color?

I have natural strawberry blonde hair.
I dyed my hair from I was about 13 till last year, it`s been all kinds of colors, bright red, brown, black, blue, green++++
When I stopped dying it, my hair grew back the natural strawberry blonde color I was born with. So don`t worry, your natural hair color will come back.
If you use a wash out hair dyer your natural hair color should come back after about as many washes as it says on the package/the hair dresser tells you.
I would recomend you to go to a saloon. They will be able to tell you more, and help you find a color you like.

That`s one thing I like with hair, you can change it all you want- straighten out curls, get curls, cut it, dye it and it will still grow back out the way it used to be.

Good Luck and have fun with your hair. :-)

Look I have been dyeing my hair for a very long time! Yes, it will come back in the same color! It may come in a little darker then your natural hair color but it will be the same! Also my sister - in - law is a hairstylist she has told me because my husband has red hair that with red hair that it may die orange because of the red so I would be careful about it! Good luck!

Yes it will in time. It will have to grow out to really get your true color back. I know even with washing it with a hair dye. Sounds like you already have a beautiful color of hair already. Do you really want to dye it? Their is hair pieces you could apply to give you a different look also. Good luck.

I am also a strawberry blonde naturally. DO NOT DYE IT. strawberry blond is the nicest color. I colored my hair and now it looks cheap and it will take forever to grow out. It will also be darker because it get darker the more you dye it. I know it is tempting to change your color for fun but I think you will be sorry if you do.

yes use a wash in or a semi permenent color a wash in will last through 24 washes as long as you use a color treated shampoo other wise it will wash out quicker and a semi color will last 3-6 months but will gradually fade so thier is no roots just dont go permenant that last 6 months and you will see roots good luck

Hair is constantly growing and eventually new hair will grow in that will not be dyed. Over time, your natural hair color will grow all the way back in.

actual hair. you're able to desire to re-dye it each and every as quickly as and a on a similar time as, or come across an intensive to matching tone (on your hair) so whilst it grows out it is your hair shade anyhow so then its such as you on no account dyed it.
