I propose a summit to iron out all differences and bring about peace, it could be the blue print for peace throughout Earth.

Of course, everyone will tell me why this won't work.

Could anyone give me a reason why it would?

properly, in case you have been with us a touch longer, you will learn that many human beings pass to this internet site just to spew out hate and venom. unhappy yet authentic, and that i visit in all danger get a contravention word for telling the actuality. completely useful and considerate solutions are given thumbs down, insults fly. i've got even gotten threatening e mail from some members. Why can't all of us in basic terms get alongside? because of the fact curiously, we don't prefer to.

I'm a Christian and I believe we should also all get along. I believe that the Bible is the one Truth. I know that other people believe other things, but that doesn't mean that I hate them. You're right, we should be able to get along with eachother, and the Lord commands us #1 to love Him above all else and then #2 to treat our neighbor (everyone, despite their beliefs) as we want to be treated.

I think people would still ask questions and disagree, but they would be respectful. Instead of criticizing, they'd just be trying to understand what other people believe for the sake of understanding.

It would work when people no longer thought irrationally. Thinking irrationally leaves too much room for emotional reactions. But by thinking rationally, people would let go of superstitious beliefs. So, no, I doubt irrational people could ever live in peace with the rest of us.

I think it would be very boring if we all got along. But I suppose I could give you a reason why it will work...... Nobody wants their beliefs bashed and I think if everyone realized that their views actually were respected they wouldn't need to be all defensive.
