on thursday, the hearing in one of my ears went out(not completely) and i heard a high pitched note in my ear. It went away by mid- day Friday but then i got very dizzy and i could not get out of my bed because i was 100% sure i was going to faint (i felt VERY weak) and my eyes were spinning. I decided to sleep on it and when i woke up Saturday i was all better and it has not come back since, can anyone tell me what probably happened to me?????

I also have suffered from that. It is called Vertigo a inner ear problem with fluid in your ear, it cases your equilibrium to go off balance very dizzy and even nauseous if it gets very bad. Go to the doctors asap it can be serious and lead to other things. You will get some medication I believe they are red pills when I took them I was told to stay out of the sun it causes your skin to burn easily. I still get it everyonce in a while but the first time I had no idea what was happening either scared me to death. But go to the doctors.

It could be any number of things: an inner ear infection; a temporary ear blockage; or a head cold. Any problem in the ear can cause dizziness and nausea. Check with your Dr.

Something must have happened to your inner ear,( that part of the ear which is responsible for maintaining the body balance)... dehydration or lack of water in the body will affect the inner ear resulting to dizziness...a viral infection may also have a similar effect...
A mild form of this condition is self limiting or heals itself... If it recurs, you should see a doctor ASAP.!
