If your Gums are swollen and red & cleaning them make bleed, you have 'Gingivitis'.
Use Listerine
Buy a 3 % solution of hydrogen peroxide, mix it half and half with water, and swish it around your mouth for 30 seconds. Don't swallow. Use this wash three times a week to inhibit bacteria..
Scrape your tongue back to front 10 to 15 times daily.
Eat a raw vegetable daily.
Take plain baking soda, mix it with a little bit of water, and apply it with your fingers along the gum line in a small section of your mouth. Then brush gently. You will clean, polish, neutralize acidic bacterial washes, and deodorize, all in one swoop.

I suggest that regular usage of clove before going to bed can cure bleeding gums.In addition to this usage of home made neem leaf paste before brushing can reduce gum bleeding.

i use to have the same problem not too long ago and I use a mouthwash called Biotene. They sell it all walmart for about $7.00 but its worth it. Use it when you wake up and before you go you go to bed after brushing your teeth. You will start seeing changes in about 2 weeks. It really is worth it!!
