Whole wheat bread, sliced avocado, tomato, Swiss cheese and alfalfa sprouts, with a dash of mayo. But yours sound even better.

Pita Bread, toasted in the oven with cheddar cheese, then spread inside with mayonnaise and a big wad of alfalfa sprouts smushed in.
OR...turkey on crusty french bread with melted provolone, green onions, banana peppers, olive oil and wine vinegar, and lettuce and mayo. I am so hungry now.

Discovered this one only 2 weeks ago: cranberry and brie panini.
Split the panini, horizontally, so you got a top and bottom layer
Spread some cranberry sauce on both slices, then cut some pieces of brie, and put them on the thicker "bottom" slice.
pre-heat the grill of your oven for a 3-4 mins, then put both slices in. Grill for 2-3 mins, or until the brie melts enough to cover most of bottom slice.
take it out of oven, put top slice on bottom, cut into 8 pieces, then enjoy. knife and fork is advised
Also, when grilling, make sure there's a baking tray on the shelf underneath the one with slices, to catch any bits of melted cheese. It's easier to clean than bottom of oven.
I reckon any type of roll will do, but panini's are better suited to grilling.
Should find everything in any supermarket, cranberry sauce is usually in the ketchup aisle, rather than jams.

The #8 from Genova Deli. It's a huge Italian sandwich. Or my cousin's muffaletta sandwich.
Now if it's something for myself, I make one with sourdough, cream cheese, pesto, ham, provolone, and spinach or arugula and put it in the panini press. Yum.
