Its either school or work, and the more you go to school, most likely the better your job is going to be. Hang in there, youll be glad one day.

Yes, but that feeling didn't kick in until I'd dropped out of high school (undisciplined & distracted), lived some, had a child, then took a college exercise course. When I learned about financial aid, that I could get help to get through it, I went full time. I continued until I earned a BA. I'd love to go back for a masters, but won't consider it until my youngest is on her own; my brain would fry if I tried to be supermom again (single parenting, school, work, blahblah). Now that I'm an 'older' mom, I'm nearly exhausted as it is.

I didn't. I dropped out of school in the fifth grade so I could learn to play blues guitar. At the age of 12 I hit the road with some blues legends of the day, like Jelly Jam Jar Johnson, Ruttlin' Orange Peel, Blind Lemon Pye, and Rev. Abraham Billingsly. Now, my situation was different than most, so I suggest you stay in school.

Where else can you go to get a free education, free lunch, hangout with your friends, and legitimately get out of the house for 6-8 hours a day. School isn't suppose to be unpleasant, if you treat people with respect, you will be respected.

Would you really like going through life saying, "would you like fries with that?" School isn't suppose to be a "like" thing. It's to help you educate yourself so that you can have a better life and be a productive member of society...and not some crack head muggler living under a bridge.

I didn't enjoy High School....but COLLEGE was sooo much fun. You meet so many exciting people to include professors and new friends. So, maybe high school is a bore for you now, but your future can be much better.

i love going to school. i get to see my friends and hang out with them. i get to meet new people in my classes. but i also learn i like to be informed. i'm not a nerd but i'm not stupid. i love school. when i'm at home it's so boring i would rather be at school. plus some of the teachers are cute enough to look at.
