Girls, do you consider a firefighter as "hot"?

Where I live firefighters are not seen that "hot", I've been talking to girls on the net and when I tell them that I am a firefighter they go crazy. What's with the uniform?

Depends there ,Sport. The mental visual of a firefighter is of someone in good shape physically as well as mentally. That used to fit but in the last 10 to 15 years is not so true.
Wildland fire guys are usually in better "shape" than structural fighters. I know and state this since I (female) work with both types and have for over 20 years

I think it has to do with the danger aspect possibly as well as an image that is inside a woman's head.
Firefighters are courageous, daring, chance takers, risk takers.
very very masculine.
They are hot they are nice they are mmm
can't tell you what it is, there is something about a go get em guy that sets women into dreams maybe of being rescued.
I think of this nice strong man coming to rescue me and the uniform well that all the more interesting. Even the idea of being rescued, taken away can set a woman off. its that domineering sort of guy,

Strong Masculine, Powerful male. image that women seem to go for. and I don't know what it is . its just mmm mmm good. umph is what it is . Rugged kind of guy that knows what he is going after is the image that is portrayed.

no not all firefighters are hot.. Just like not all military guys are hot.. Not just anyone can make those uniforms look good..

Well "firefighter" is what they do for a living, not what they ARE. I find certian kinds of guy hot because of personality and looks, and the way they act not employement I guess.

No, I don't think it is suitable for young children. A lot of their humor centers on sex. As a woman about that age, I think it's a bit insulting. I know that they want to portray women in their 50s as "still out there in the world" and not just grandmas, but it gets silly. #2. It depends on the man who's looking, I guess. I think Bea Arthur is the most interesting, but a lot of men go for the Rose type -- sweet and nurturing. Blanche was all in her own mind. Her face looks a bit like she had a rough car accident to me. I can't imagine men putting up with her vanity, but there's that kind of guy who loves being the pet poodle. Being better looking and smarter than any of them, the whole man theme is absurd to me. There is no dating scene.

Firefighters have my vote. I think they are great because they earn a living doing things that really help people. That is hot in itself.

My impression isn't connected to the uniform. The firefighters (and paramedics) I've seen/met are physically fit, bright and intelligent. Coupling that with a selfless (you're not a pyro, are you?) urge to help, well, hubba hubba!

Heck yes that's so hot, did I say hot i mean steaming, burning. The thought of someone doing their duty and in top of that risking their lives to save another that alone deserves a big whooping kiss. muuuahhhhhhhhhh. Hey how long is that hose anyway??? lol.
