She is feeling like she isn't "in love" with you anymore, but she's probably having trouble totally removing you from her life since you have been there a while and you know her so well. You guys, at the root of it all, are/were really good friends. It is a bit selfish on her behalf because it is you who is hurting the most right now. If you agreed to be friends, things would be okay at the beginning. However, once you start seeing her flirting or dating other men, you are going to feel even more hurt. If you do agree to be friends, keep your distance. Feel free to keep in touch, but keep far enough apart so that you can't watch her moving on with her life while you are still caught up in the past.

I would cut it off. I know from experience that come and go stuff just hurts more and longer and takes longer to heal from.
Remaining friends isn't always exactly what a person really means. Most of the time, it really means I feel guilty about ending our relationship and don't want it face the pain on your face, so remaining friends might make it better or easier for you to receive.
I always cut it off and start the healing process. And that's what I always recommend.

She wants out of the relationship. Telling somebody "I want to stay friends" is just a way to get out "smoothly". You need to analyze the reasons why she said the relationship was over, and if those reasons are substancial, get over it and go on with your life. You'll be much better off beeing free from the imotional issues.

People tend to think that it's "nice" or something to stay friends with their ex. You two need time apart to heal before a friendship can form.
My ex told me that we could be friends and that he would "always be there" for me, he even admitted that he doesn't know what he means by that!

means your not well enought endowed but she will still let you take her to dinner and pay for it. and if you win the lottery then she will have a chance to hook into that. women love to stay friends so they don't have to cut the emotional attactment and still get off on it but you get cut off from what u need

There are a lot of people that aren't capable of a sustained relationship. Unfortunately they don't wear signs.

women want to remain friends because it makes them feel better. You don't have to be concerned with what makes HER feel better.
