You need to at least call, if not go in and see your doctor. They may be able to prescribe something over the phone and call it in to your local pharmacy!

That is why I do not have anything to do with drugs or antibiotics. They will temporarily help but then make things worse later. Antibiotics, especially amoxicillin, destroy the immune system and thus your body is not able to fight infections.

The amoxicillin will not completely remove all of your sickness. Right now you are sick because your body cannot do anything to help fight against it.

Another thing to remember, which most doctors won't tell you, is that antibiotics will not help against a virus. It can not do anything to help.

To get healthy again, you need to stop taking amoxicillin and not take it again. This is the first step.

Next, drink lots of fluids. Usually, you should drink 6-8 cups of water a day. If you take less than that, then your kidneys will conserve body water level by not eliminating as much waste.

To detoxify, you should take about 10 cups of water a day preferably along with vitamin C. A important thing to remember about vitamins is that THEY MUST BE NATURAL. If the vitamins come from horse hair, dead bones on the ocean floor, cow sewage sludge, and other poisonous chemical or synthetic substances, Do NOT TAKE THEM. These vitamins will do you much more harm than good. In fact, this is the reason why many Americans are sick.

I would recommend a lot of fruits and vegetables and little or no animal products. That may seem hard but it is the only way to get healthy and stay healthy. Remember, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE SICK.

Hope this info helps. To answer your question, the medicine did not help and your body most likely get immune to it. Please look at what I said and take it seriously.

You are vague about what the sickness is. If you get a digestive bug, the body usually is pretty good at getting rid of it. Often when you feel worst is when the body is killing the bugs and you have to cope with all of the waste products from the dead bugs. Best thing for that is Charcoal. It adsorbs the toxins so your body can cope and get rid of them. Surely you can call in sick for the exam... I mean provision must be allowed for contingencies? Giving an antibiotic without doing a culture is malpractice, but as Dr Mendelssohn said, that's the only kind we have.

So what do you have...? Chargoal is a good remedy and or vitamin C to detoxify and increase your immune system. Your stress diminsihes your immune system. Antibiotics only helps for bacterial infections. You might have a viral infection. Use Oil of oregano next time as Oil of Oregano battles both. Use acidophilus to help the side effects of AB.

Good lcuk tomorrow and do not worry.

You do not say what your sickness was, or is now. .Either the bug was resistant to the antibiotic, or partly sensitive and you had a relapse or this is a new illness. In either case, you'll have to see your doctor again.

You may have c-diff from the antibiotics. If you are having bad diarrhea and stomach problems now see your doc and get this checked out.
