Oh gosh, that is a fantastic idea. Want to be my boyfriend for Valentines Day? I"m just kidding, mine will probably think of something equally creative.
To go kind of off track for a second, guys now a days are really starting to shock me at how creative and thoughtful they are. Or maybe I just haven't given ya'll enough credit ever, haha.
Anywho, if you are planning on doing that which is a by far awesome idea. You need a couple more things (in my opinion)...you are going to either have to babysit or find a babysitter...because it will not be relaxing if there are two kids running around while she is there...or find a spa with a day care. It would be even more if you say you will babysit the kids, showing you want to get to know them and appreciate your time with them. That will give you MANY brownie points.
I am a firm believer of guys giving cards along with presents. Also, you need and have to write something in the inside. You can explain why you chose to send her to a day spa and what you like about her.

I work in a day spa and I think its a great idea!! The fact that you've only been dating a month... doesn't really matter, what matters is how close you two have gotten in that month. You could get her a smaller day package, that way its not costing you as much, but you're still investing on her having a relaxing day without the kids that shows you care.
How about a Manicure, pedicure, & massage?

No, she would love it. But for you to know they are kind of expensive. If she can't take that much time away from her kids. Get her the kind of package that gives her a manicure, a pedicure, and a haircut and style and then when she is all dressed up take her to dinner.
I would try and get her mom to agree to babysit on this day or if her mom is passed a friend of hers that she really trusts to watch her kids. You can watch them while she is at the spa and then pay someone to watch them during the evening.

That is really sweet! But you've only been dating her for a month....but since it's Valentines Day....I say go for it. I hope you know how much it cost for a day at the spa though.....because I run my dad's credit bill up when I go. But as long as you don't have any problems with money then ok.

You can buy the services at the spa, like a pedicure and a manicure, or a facial and a massage. Just decide what she would like best or benefit from the most and buy that service.

Give her a VISA card instead. A single mother has plenty of more important places to use the money than a day spa.

It is a great idea. It shows that you understand how hard she works. It is sweet and not too over the top. Dont do it if it is going to put a huge hole in your wallet though only if you can afford it.

I'm pretty sure she will never stop thanking you for it. It is never too soon for a trip to the spa. Go for it she will love it.
