Does the key have to activated and can it be used more then once?

A product key for a linux OS? you sure you don't mean Windows XP pro? A product key for a linux os would have to be violating the GPL. Do you have the source code?If linux xp pro does not let you have the source code and requires a product then you don't have a true linux product. Go try Ubuntu,debian,damn small linux, anything but Linux XP pro.

search for Linux distabutions. I have not seen Linux XP. But windows XP does need a Key. usually it does need to be activated. And no it cannot be used more than once unless you have a XP that is for multi user
