With my ex wife of 10 years and an ex girlfriend of about 8 years.
I'm married now!
I have visited and stayed overnight (in another state now -along with my wife) with my ex wife. When we split up we wrote a contract that we would stay friendly and not get bitter with each other. I helped her move into an apartment and stayed in touch with her through out the years.
My ex girlfriend - We (my wife and I) see her every year at an
x-mass party and catch up with our lives. We are friends.
Yes it can be done so that there is a win-win friendship.

Yes, with my ex husband. We have kids together, so we both think it is important that the kids aren't subjected to parents who scream and yell at each other all the time. Just because we realized that we didn't love each other any more and weren't right for each other doesn't me we can't act nicely towards each other.

I went out with a guy for nine months, now we are real good friends, but he has a girl and I have a guy so its understood that we are just friends. It took a few weeks after we broke up before we started talking again, but it was worth it.

Yeah...I'm friends with all my ex's with the exception of my first love...we got off on bad terms because I was still harboring feelings for him.
