Hi
The cost of your Wedding Flowers can be as much or as little as you like. Whilst the average cost of Wedding Flowers is between £300 and £500 it's possible to spend much less (or more than!) this.
As long as you are upfront about your budget a really good florist will use their experience to work within your budget to make your wedding flowers look and smell fantastic!
As a guide why not use this checklist of the flowers that you might need or want then a price it up using the price list.

Hi well the thing is wedding flowers all depend on the flourist, I shoped around and some wouldnt give me an answer on price unless i booked it with them, Then others said depends on the size and type of flowers i wanted, So ranged from £50 - 200 and thats for only my bouquet not the bridesmaids and more. So i shoped around and found the cheapest, and so far for my bouquet its £60 and its lovely and £45 for the bridesmaids. So im saving loads of money at this flourist.
So im sorry i cant really give you an estimate bacause it all depends on the prices of your flourist and the only way you will find out is go and see the flourist. So you cant really budget if you thinking on buying them cheap. I would say for definate if your going to a good flourist to budget £400 at the most.

I used to work in a florist and we had wedding packages. They went from $350 up to $700. These used roses, supplemented with the cheapest, longest lasting flowers (mini-carnations, alstroemeria, mums etc). With that you get all your bouquets, corsages, bouts, a couple alter pieces for the church, and a centerpiece for your head table.
From attending weddings I've found that people don't really pay a whole lot of attention to the flowers. If I were you, I would invest more money into other parts of the ceremony, like the food or the reception area. People will remember those things more then they will remember the bouquet you were holding.

Before you budget you have to decide whats the more important thing that you want for your wedding.
When I was married, I really didnt care about the flowers, so I spent $600 for everything.
I got
my bouquet
2 bridesmaid bouquets
4 handtied bunches for the moms and grandmoms
5 boutineers
2 altar arrangements
6 simple centerpieces consiting of greenery wreaths (chirstmas wedding) and candles
6 pew bows
But my BF who was married over the summer spent around $1500 and the place was wall to wall flowers. That was what she wanted her money to be spent on.
Start with deciding if the flowers will be a main part of your day, then go from there when budgeting.

Don't think accurate estimate possible unless you state your area and others experience of florists there. I am also trying to budget for flowers for forthcoming wedding. Difference in estimates are unbelievable within a reasonably small community and shops and suppliers who looks same, seem to supply identical flower quality vary so much. Have also checked a bit further a field and it's the same story. If it's any help lots of shops and suppliers have price lists which they will post out to you.

Well, it really depends on how big your wedding party is and if you need them for the tables.
Mine are as following
1 Bride
6 bridesmaids
6 groomsmen
2 sets of mother and father corsages
1 speaker corsage.
5 sister corsages
Mine are 4 types of Roses- all rose, NO filler.
$1,000
It really depends on what you need- what kind of flowers- like mums are a lot cheaper, how many people in the wedding party- do you need flowers for the church ( I paid the church for flowers another $1,400) and do you need them at the reception.
I would say budget about $2000 to be safe.

Bridal bouquet around £70 (bridesmaids £10 -£15 less)
Each church arrangement on pedestal around £100
Pew ends around £15 -20
Table flowers for reception around £80 - £100
Gift bouquets around £40 -50
These were approximates from 3 sets of prices given to me by florists for my wedding last October, but a good florist will work to your budget.

My local florist gave me a brochure so I could get an idea of their costs. Buttonhole started at £2.50 each and the brides flowers could start at £70.00 or more depending on what sort of style and flowers were being used. Bridesmaid bouquets started at about £7.00
Hope this helps, please remember that prices will increase each year, so if you are getting married in 2008, increase you budget abit more.

If it's a somewhat fancy wedding, you can easily spend a few thousand dollars... especially if you have real flowers in the church, in the bouquets, and on the tables at the reception, and so on.
