I think what you're referring to is genetic engineering. Splitting an atom is nuclear fission and has nothing to do with crops.

Genetic engineering holds many promises for crop development.

But consider this, if we do double the amount of food we can produce from an acre of land, this will only allow even more population.

The world needs less people not more food.

Your question makes no sense at all. An atom is about 1 divided by 10000000000 meters across. A "crop" of corn or even just one kernel of corn dwarfs it in size. I have no idea what you're saying.
