Yes, I would show the same respect if my advances for sex were turned down. You have the absolute right to say no. It is your body and doesn't belong to anyone else.
I would continue to look at anyone in the same light but would maintain respect for their wishes at all times.

It should always be the womens choice to have sex or not, I have been asked and I have asked to take the sexual part off our relatioship slower, I think it should be a choice that both consenting adults make together.
If a women turned my down sexual I would not see her in any different light, as I do not think Sex is the only thing to come out off a relationship and trust and security should become before a adult releationship to stop feelings getting hurt.
I also don't have one night stands for the same reason.

yes....ALL MEN will respect the woman who turns down the offer, yet KNOW that they will look at you in a different light. That light wil most likely be one that you won't. you will then be someone that they cannot have when they want it and from that expect less attention. A man will not try as hard if that is their focus(sex)

I think most of them do respect you to some degree for it. BUT they r youbng- and remember- they are JUST guys! They may be a little moody and pouty but trust me they can and will live without it. It wont explode! Stick to your beliefs and never let anyone talk u into doing something u dont want to do! Your body will tell u when the time is right! Good luck to u

let me tell you this, a guy should always respect a girl in what ever reason or sence. when a guy really wants nothing but a good relation ship and ask for nothing else but being with you thats a guy that is worth being with, who he sees for who you are and nothing else. but if the guy as soon as he starts dating you or even before he wants to sleep with you, then that guy sure does not have respect for you. ALWAYS RESPECT YOUR SELF AND BODY and those who dont then there a waist of time. so thats how i feel. you choose what you like. good luck

Any decent guy will wait until you are ready. If you are not sure that you want to have sex with him, tell him you're not ready. If he's not willing to wait, then he's not worth your time and you deserve someone who cares more about you. If he doesn't respect you after you say no, or if he sees you differently, that's his problem. You need to respect yourself and don't worry about what he thinks.

It depends on the circumstances and what you believe in. A guy who is prepared to wait untill marriage obviously wouldn't mind but a girl wanting to wait for a few months, sure that's respectable.

Well some do i would believe.But if i get a rejection i can take like a man.And i look at the woman with a little more respect.In a way ,well she has every right to say no and who am i to argue?I think i would respect her more.Peace Victorio

For me I have been dropped flat and somehow I respect their wishes as I respect mine. If they want to get laid that quick then I am not their lady. I figure I have to know someone before I go to bed with them. I prefer getting to know you and feel the emotions of what the relationship is instead of just getting laid.
If that were the case I might as well sell it for money and I would have the same feelings.
Doesn't anyone care anymore about emotions.
Isn't there such a think as making love anymore.
with feelings instead of lust.???
I'm lost in this world now.
I would rather loose them in that case instead of loose my morals and respect for myself.
Its not worth it. If I degrade myself just to please another.

If they are worth anything then yes they will respect a girl. They would then see that girl as girlfreind potential & not just sex.
