well i want to dump my boyfriend but im afraid we wont become friends should i take the risk yes or no

If you are sure he is not the one for you then yes you should break up! Make sure its not just a passing mood first, if that makes any sense. When you do it just don’t insult his ego by telling him what is “wrong” with him. Just say you don’t see a lasting future with him, and please don’t say “maybe in the future it will change.” Because then he may have a lingering hope to get you back and it will always be on his mind. I agree with the other person who said its okay to tell him you still would like to stay close as friends, but if he needs time or can’t do it, please respect his choice. By being totally honest you have nothing to feel bad about.
Make sure to tell him in person, or on the phone at the very least, so he can hear your voice and know you are serious. If you are meant to be friends that will happen for ya’ll. If in the future you decide you do think he is the right one for you and you want him back, maybe he will take you back since you were considerate of his feelings and since you were honest with him

If you want to break up with him then you should, you should only stay with him if you really like him.
But when you break up with him do it nice and easy
and if you still want to be friends with him tell him..."I still want to stay close with you."

ask him to meet you somewhere private. talk to him. explain your trully reasons. and never say "I'm sorry" if you don't make any mistake. Just speak clearly and be honest. He'll understand.

If your not happy, why torture yourself and him? Just break-up,
you might be friends, you might not, such is life.
