for sure you are wasting water.
after it goes down your drain, the water goes to a manhole for the whole building, and then to a bigger manhole, and then through the sewage water network, to its final disposal place (river, see...).
in some cities, the sewage water network end by a sewage water treatement plant, and water is used for different proposal, mostly for irrigation.
and please stop wasting water, because water resources are realy rare at this moment, the whole world face a big water problem.

You are wasting not only water, but lots of energy.
Besides the fact the water that enter your house costs and someone is paying (probably not you, you would know), the water you waste need to be re-treated and transported. This requires energy and you indirectly end up paying for it (and me too!)
So close the faucet right now and stop taking long showers, for our good !

No, you may take a short bathe, and then fill various buckets with water and throw them out the window each and every time, to make up the stability. this can ward off time, yet you'll nonetheless be able to waste an same quantity of water as earlier, and do your bit in direction of pushing this planet to the sting of destruction. P.S Please be effective to throw the water on concrete, so as no longer to inadvertently help some tree or plant to strengthen :)

Depends. There are some cities where the water gets reycled and reused, but most of the time it ends up in the sewers.
Using a lot of water uses a lot of energy too. Less water=less energy used.

It will eventually get recycled through the process of evaporation.
The answer I suspect you are looking for is, no it does not get filtered and used again. If you are connected to a sewer, then it makes its way to the sewage treatment plant but it can never be used for human use again until after it evaporates and then rains again.
